Pricing Policy

Why are we able to offer our products at such low prices?

Transparency

We set our prices in a reasonable and fair manner.

Our pricing policy is extremely transparent. We want to build trust with our customers and give them the feeling that they can make their own decisions by keeping them informed about our pricing policy. Trust is the foundation of every strong relationship, and TRANSPARENCY helps build that trust. We have outlined how we set prices for our products in the model above. When calculating our prices, we take various factors into account, including: income tax, profit, rent and wages, marketing, transportation and logistics, and manufacturing.

Reasonable price

Our systematic approach to pricing allows us to offer products at a reasonable price. We do not work with middlemen and avoid unnecessary shipping costs.

Our bags are manufactured in India by small family-run businesses or larger manufacturers. We also source our production materials from local suppliers. This means our materials only have to be transported over short distances, resulting in low shipping costs.

The finished leather products arrive in Europe directly and can be shipped to you immediately.

Competitive Differentiation

Unfortunately, many companies are seeking to reduce their production costs in various ways. As a result, more and more manufacturers are sourcing their leather from low-wage countries and having their goods produced there. This is happening in countries such as Bangladesh, where animals are slaughtered in inhumane conditions and adequate safety measures are not followed during the tanning process.

Gusti Leather strongly opposes this type of production and deliberately chooses alternative production methods.

Other Methods for Reducing Costs

We use various strategies to reduce the costs of developing and manufacturing our products. One of the most important aspects of this is that we carry out all the work ourselves. In the leather industry, products are often sourced through manufacturers’ representatives, at trade shows, or via imports. We bypass this step and source our products directly from our manufacturers, which fosters a close business relationship. This allows us to regularly inspect the goods and monitor conditions on-site at the production facilities.
